A wet basement isn't just inconvenient — it damages structure, promotes mould, and devalues your property. We offer both interior and exterior waterproofing systems for Toronto and GTA homes, tailored to your water entry point, foundation type, and budget.
A wet basement isn't just inconvenient — it damages structure, promotes mould, and devalues your property. We offer both interior and exterior waterproofing systems for Toronto and GTA homes, tailored to your water entry point, foundation type, and budget.
Our crews work across Toronto and all 30 GTA municipalities — we know the local permit offices, soil conditions, and site constraints that affect your project.
We identify the source: wall cracks, floor-wall joint, window wells, cold joints, or hydrostatic pressure through the slab. The method follows the source.
Interior drainage channel is saw-cut into the perimeter of the slab, a perforated pipe drains to a new sump pit, and a dimple-board membrane is installed against the foundation wall.
Exterior waterproofing requires excavating to the footing, cleaning the foundation wall, applying a rubber waterproofing membrane, installing drainage board and weeping tile, and backfilling with gravel.
A pedestal or submersible sump pump with a battery backup is installed in the new pit. We test the system under load before closing.
Active cracks are injected with polyurethane or epoxy depending on whether the crack is moving or static. We seal from the interior in most cases.
Cut perimeter channels are filled and finished, and any disturbed flooring is repaired to a clean finish.
Interior waterproofing generally does not require a permit. Exterior waterproofing that involves excavation may require a permit in some municipalities if it disturbs grade near the property line. Adding a new sump pump and pit typically does not require a permit. We'll advise based on your scope and municipality.
Permit requirements vary by municipality and scope. We'll identify what's required during the site visit and advise on expected timelines.
